Porte Italiane

Italian Designer Doors

Interior doors by Pail and glass door systems by Casali. Flush, pocket, sliding, hidden, and pivot systems crafted in glass, wood, and aluminum.

Wood, Lacquer, and Glass. Two Italian Specialists.

An Italian interior door completes the architectural language of your home. We work with two manufacturers who approach doors from complementary directions. Pail, founded in 1963 in Atessa, Abruzzo, produces wood, lacquered, and veneer doors in every opening system: swing, flush filomuro, sliding, pocket, pivot, and boiserie wall panelling. Casali, a family-run glass atelier, transforms solid tempered glass into swing doors, sliding panels, partitions, shower enclosures, and decorative walls. Together they cover every interior door requirement, from a discreet flush door that disappears into a corridor wall to a custom-image glass partition that becomes the focal point of a living room.

Filomuro Flush Door Technology

The door panel, frame, and surrounding wall appear as one continuous surface when closed. Italian manufacturers have refined this technique over decades, using concealed aluminum subframes, magnetic latches, and paintable surfaces that integrate seamlessly with your wall finish.

Every Opening System Available

Swing on concealed hinges, sliding along a minimal external track, pocket (disappearing into the wall cavity), pivot on a central axis, book-fold for wide openings. Each system is engineered for a specific architectural situation, and your designer will recommend the right one for each doorway.

Artisan Glass Surfaces

Casali's glass doors and partitions are produced from solid tempered safety glass using sand-blasting, etching, carving, and hand-lacquered coatings. Clients can provide their own photographs or artwork to be reproduced on any glass surface with remarkable fidelity.

Made to Your Wall Height

Italian doors are produced to your exact specifications. Floor-to-ceiling installations at 2.7m, 3m, or any custom height are standard production, not special orders. The door becomes an architectural element scaled precisely to your interior proportions.
